| Lake Strawberry is about a mile from the Lair. There is a dock where you can rent sailboats, kayaks and paddle boats. A walk around the lake is about four miles. |

| One day three of us took the hike to Cleo's Baths. This is a favorite hike up the Stanislaus River. Our son-in-law paddled his kayak across the lake while two of us walked and met Troy at the trail junction. |

| The hike down was just as hard as going up. When we arrived at the lake, Troy recovered his kayak and paddles back across the lake to the car while our grand daughter and I hiked some more. |
