One of the evening's entertainment events is the hootenanny. It is put on by the staff and is held around a camp fire. Here we see two of them calling 'CAMP FIRE' to alert everyone to join the fun. |

Sharon has several cousins who have been coming to the Lair for as many as fifty some odd years. |

There is lots of singing Cal songs and the audience is asked to participate. Then there are individual performances that include more music and various skits. |

The last song of the evening is 'Hail to California' with the audience standing and shining flashlights into the trees during the second verse. Then it is off to the lodge (shown at the top of the previous page) for some cards or other games, lots of talk and perhaps a Lair burger. |

We had our usual family photo shoot. Here are just a couple showing our three families with the six grand children ages two to thirteen. This year we elected to have a bear behind us. |
