The second stop in Iceland was at the north-western part. Isafjord is a small fishing village with very little to do and see. Sharon and I walked into the town, climbed some hills and just took it easy for the day. Here are some pictures, nevertheless. |

The ship was close by. So, we decided to go back for lunch. That's when we heard about the church. 'You have to go back and see that', we were told. |

The small church in town had an unusual presentation of birds above the altar. They were all made by the local people using fired clay. Some were beautiful, others made by little hands. |

Before going back to the ship, Sharon had to have a peek at some jewelry. That night I was dreaming about birds, all kinds of birds. |
