| Here are a bunch of pictures taken at the Lair near Pinecrest, California. I have not yet edited them, so, for now, they appear in rough form. In order to reduce the size of the pages, I have divided the series into six sections: (click on any of the following) |

| After dinner it is time for our first campfire presented by the Lair staff. I should mention here that the "Staff" are all UC college students (except for the director). They all have jobs involving cooking, serving, clean-up around the camp, and activities with the kids in several age groups. Mom and Dad are mostly free to do what they like. WHAT A GREAT WAY TO GO! |

| After all this excitement it is time for a "Lair Burger" and a brief visit with Sharon's cousins. Then back at the tents and some play time in the hammock (while Grandma hid her face from the little moths), it is off to bed. Next year we will need a bigger hammock! |

Breakfast is at 8:15 am; ready or not. Coffee, hot chocolate, cereal, pancakes and bacon, eggs with sausage and home-made muffins. It's time to wake up with something hardy; we have a full day ahead. |
