As part of our Oregon trip, we had made arrangements to go down the upper section of the Klamath River. There are a few Class 4+ rapids here depending on the water release from the dam at Klamath Falls. We were told that "To-day is going to be GREAT!"

After donning wet suits, booties, life preservatives and helmets, we were ready for almost anything. Right Sharon?

This was going to be fun!. Then we watched a boat go down the first main rapid and realized: "Soon it will be our turn!"

Of course we made it, although a bit wet. After lunch, in calmer waters, we had some fun trying to balance on the bow of the raft as the crew paddled hard in circles trying to shake Jay off. They succeeded and had to fish him out of the cold Klamath River. It had been an exciting day.
