| Besides the overnight party for Dayton, (with more presents, of course), the kids had a great time in the spa. Troy had been kind enough to heat the cold water, but kept the pool as cold as you can imagine around New Years Day. Still, it was fun to play some more in the mild climate. |

| Brian is strong, but somehow his sister was able to toss him over the wall into the cold pool. The two dogs, Sierra and Sam, were all eyes and would have loved to join the kids. |

| Sandra made the dinner that evening. She had a nice dish of pineapple chicken and a beautiful piece of oven baked salmon. |

| The following morning Sandra and BJ took their kids to Disneyland for a couple days. That is when we decided to take the other three kids to the park to try out a new bike and climb some trees and slides. |

Then things turned back to normal . . . . well almost. One of Dayton's birthday presents was this drum set. He had been taking lessons for a few weeks and was banging away. It was time for Grandma B and Opa to go home.
